After a delayed start to the season, McDonald Jones Stadium will host three back-to-back showdowns in the biggest year of NRLW competition yet. With the expansion to six teams – Titans, Knights and Eels joining the Roosters, Dragons and Broncos, who are out to defend their crown in search of a fourth premiership – the competition will be hotter than ever for the best female players in Australian rugby league.

For the first time in the NRLW, a finals series will be played in 2022, culminating in the Grand Final on Sunday, April 10, at Redcliffe’s Moreton Daily Stadium.

It’s a massive year for women’s rugby league, which will include a fifth season of the NRLW competition, scheduled for later in 2022, and a fierce State of Origin match-up as well.

Nine will continue to deliver expert commentary from some of the game’s biggest names, plus hours of original digital content including NRLWrap, a new Thursday program hosted by Emma Lawrence to discuss and dissect each round of the competition. NRLWrap is available to stream for FREE on 9Now and YouTube.
