The AFL/NRL season cannot come quick enough for Seven, Nine, and the fans.

Home and Away (475,000) starts the night as Seven’s best(!), as the rest of the evening is filled with tales from Beijing that help the network win the night: 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games – Night 13 (460,000), 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games – Evening 13 (447,000), and 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games – Late 13 (363,000).
Seven first in both primary (24.5%) and network (34.5%) rankings.

A Current Affair (567,000) continues to own 7pm for Nine – a critical start to primetime.
RBT (459,000) does OK (though anything sub-500k at 7:30pm isn’t really great), and the rest of the evening follows suit, with Australia Behind Bars (423,000) down on last week, as was the remainder of the incarceration trilogy A+E After Dark (176,000) and Prison (64,000).
Nine second in both primary (19.2%) and network (27.3%) rankings.

7:30 (439,000) soldiers on, however when followed by Foreign Correspondent (367,000) and a continually underperforming Q+A (223,000), it really is doing all the heavy lifting. The Princes and the Press (139,000) and a repeat of How Extra (83,000) fill out the schedule.
ABC third in both primary (11.5%) and network (162%) rankings.

10’s The Project (,000 6:30pm; 309,000 7pm) slides to its lowest this week, ready to reset on Sunday/Monday. Repeats of Bondi Rescue (200,000) and Territory Cops (162,000) do their job as filler waiting for the Olympics to end. New and old Law & Order: SVU (153,000; 130,000) and a repeat of Blue Bloods (81,000) complete the late night US drama itch for the small group that tuned in.
10 fourth in both primary (7.7%) and network (13.6%) rankings.

All new Thursday on SBS: Scenic Coastal Walks with Kate Humble (141,000), The Long Call (100,000), and Death on the Common: My Mother’s Murderer (58,000).
SBS fifth in both primary (3.8%) and network (8.4%) rankings.
