A tour de force crime procedural with twists and turns galore.

Who abducted and likely killed Katie Bailey? Who killed Erin McMenamin, and who is the father of her son? SO MANY QUESTIONS and it’s all starting to turn us all inside out. Stellar work indeed in an age when it can be all too easy to pick whodunnit in episode one.

No surprise as we lean into this week’s Group Binge that we all found it to be an absolute corker. New HBO drama MARE OF EASTTOWN (FOX SHOWCASE/BINGE) starring Kate Winslet, Angourie Rice, Jean Smart, Evan Peters, David Denman and Guy Pearce is as dreary as it is intriguing and even with episode four of seven now aired there’s still so many loose threads to tie together. Did you like it? We LOVED it. Mostly.
