Hugh Jackman is heading to Prime Video in a new mystery comedy that puts a flock of sheep at the centre of the action.
Based on Leonie Swann’s bestselling novel Three Bags Full, The Sheep Detectives is an Amazon MGM Studios production directed by Kyle Balda from a screenplay and screen story by Craig Mazin.
Jackman stars as George, a shepherd who regularly reads detective stories to his sheep each evening, convinced the flock cannot possibly understand the mysteries unfolding in the pages.

When a mysterious incident unsettles the farm and disrupts their quiet routine, the sheep begin following clues and examining the humans around them as they attempt to uncover what has happened.
Joining Jackman in the film are Emma Thompson, Nicholas Braun, Nicholas Galitzine, Molly Gordon, Tosin Cole and Hong Chau.
The cast also includes Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Bryan Cranston, Chris O’Dowd, Regina Hall, Patrick Stewart, Bella Ramsey, Brett Goldstein and Rhys Darby.
The family mystery comedy is produced by Lindsay Doran, Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner, and adapts Swann’s bestselling novel for the screen following its success with readers around the world.
