In last night’s Farmer Wants A Wife, just when some of the farmers looked ready to settle into strong connections, a fresh round of romantic chaos unfolded.
Double dates, unexpected kisses, emotional walkouts and two significant departures left several farms reeling as relationships came under the microscope.
As the competition narrows, host Natalie Gruzlewski tasked each farmer with choosing two women for a double date before making another difficult farewell decision.
For Alex, growing feelings for Eddy continued to strengthen, although revelations about his earlier kiss with Suzannah left Eddy questioning where she stood.
Meanwhile, Gabbie recognised the pair’s connection and ultimately made a surprising choice that removed the need for Alex to send someone home, further cementing Alex and Eddy as one of the season’s strongest pairings.
At Dylan’s farm, a passionate kiss with Ally only deepened his uncertainty, while Lily was left unimpressed after learning what had happened during the double date.
Her concerns ultimately saw her walk away from the experience, leaving Dylan with even more questions than answers.
Tensions also continued to simmer at Zac’s farm following a difficult meeting with his twin sister, Izzy, with both Miranda and Maya invited on a date to address unresolved concerns.
In a dramatic farewell dinner, Zac decided enough was enough after another tense exchange between the women, with the decision proving particularly surprising given Miranda had appeared to be among the frontrunners in his search for love.
Farmer Zac explained that Miranda’s behaviour ultimately influenced his decision to send her home.
“Seeing Miranda say that at the table, it was sort of the nail in the coffin.”
Elsewhere, Jarrad rediscovered a spark with Carly, leading to Cara’s departure as the remaining farmers moved one step closer to finding a lasting connection.
The drama is set to continue tonight when the farmers’ nearest and dearest step in to play matchmaker, introducing a new woman they believe could be the perfect match.
