Farmer Wants A Wife enters a pivotal stage tonight as new arrivals, difficult decisions and growing tensions put several relationships to the test.

Now in its 16th season, the long running Seven dating series continues to find fresh ways to shake up life on the farm, with families taking matters into their own hands.

The reality series ramps up the drama with tense double dates, emotional farewells and the arrival of new women chosen by the farmers’ own families.

On Zac’s farm, Miranda remains confident heading into the farewell dinner, convinced Maya will be the one leaving, while Zac admits he is struggling to separate two very different but equally strong connections.

As each farmer meets a new potential match selected by family members, emotions run high among the original ladies left waiting back on the farms.

The surprise arrivals are designed to test the relationships formed so far, with each farmer returning from a one-on-one date facing fresh questions about where their heart really lies.

Farmer Zac says he is finding it difficult to choose between Miranda and Maya, revealing both women have made a lasting impression during their time on the farm.

“The spark is definitely there with Miranda, and Maya is the most genuine person I have ever met.”

With new contenders entering the picture and farewell decisions looming, several relationships face their biggest challenge of the season so far.

Farmer Wants A Wife continues at 7.00pm tonight, Sunday 21st June, on Seven and 7plus.
