ESPN will exclusively broadcast the 2026 UEFA Women’s Champions League Final this weekend, with FC Barcelona and OL Lyonnes set to meet in Oslo for the biggest match in European women’s football.
The match will be available to viewers across Australia and New Zealand via ESPN on Disney+, Foxtel, Kayo Sports, Fetch TV and Sky NZ.
The final marks the fourth UEFA Women’s Champions League decider between FC Barcelona and OL Lyonnes, two of the competition’s most successful clubs.
OL Lyonnes claimed victories over Barcelona in the 2019 and 2022 finals, while Barcelona won the most recent meeting between the sides with a 2-0 result in 2024.
For Barcelona, the appearance will be a record sixth consecutive UEFA Women’s Champions League Final, with the club chasing a fourth title.
Meanwhile, OL Lyonnes will feature in the final for a record 12th time and is pursuing a ninth championship and its first since 2022.
The clash will feature several of the biggest names in women’s football, including Barcelona stars Alexia Putellas, Aitana Bonmatí, Ewa Pajor and Caroline Graham Hansen. OL Lyonnes will counter with players including Ada Hegerberg, Wendie Renard and Selma Bacha.
Barcelona secured its place in the final following a dominant second-leg semi-final performance against Bayern.
After drawing 1-1 in the opening leg, the Spanish side responded with a 4-2 win at home. Alexia Putellas scored twice, while Ewa Pajor added another goal to continue her strong scoring form in the competition.
That strike moved Pajor level at the top of the UEFA Women’s Champions League goalscoring tally with nine goals.
OL Lyonnes booked its spot after overturning a first-leg defeat against Arsenal in the semi-finals.
Trailing 2-1 after the opening match, Lyonnes produced a 3-1 victory in the second leg to advance 4-3 on aggregate.
An 85th-minute goal from Jule Bran sealed the result, with the midfielder scoring in both semi-final legs ahead of Sunday’s final.
