As the countdown to the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games continues, Seven is turning the spotlight on some of Australia’s biggest sporting names with a special run of Unfiltered.
Olympic bronze medallist Matt Denny leads tonight’s special, sitting down with Hamish McLachlan for a wide ranging interview before Australian athletics star Peter Bol and Seven Commonwealth Games presenter Ariarne Titmus feature in the coming weeks.

As the countdown to the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games continues, Seven’s Hamish McLachlan goes one-on-one with three of our nation’s greatest athletes for a special Commonwealth Games series of Unfiltered, from 9.30pm Wednesday on Seven and 7plus Sport.

In a never-before seen side of the Olympic bronze medallist, popular Australian discus thrower, Matt Denny sits down with host Hamish McLachlan this Wednesday night, as he takes viewers behind the curtain on the prospect of finishing his career as a five-time Olympian in Brisbane in 2032, the impact of his father passing away in 2024, as well as his ambitions to become a world champion in the sport.
On Wednesday, 15 July, episode two of the Commonwealth Games Unfiltered series will feature five-time 800m national champion, Peter Bol. In a rare interview, Bol unveils the emotional toll of his suspension from the sport in 2023 and the impacts of being embroiled in controversy, as well as getting his career back on track ahead of Glasgow 2026.
The third episode, to air on Wednesday 22 July, will feature four-time Olympic gold medallist and seven-time Commonwealth Games gold medallist, Ariarne Titmus. Titmus, who is part of Seven’s coverage for Glasgow 2026, discusses her shock retirement from the sport in 2025 as well as her relentless pursuit of excellence to become one of Australia’s greatest and most decorated swimmers.
It comes as the 2026 Glasgow Commonwealth Games edges closer, with the live, free and exclusive coverage commencing on Friday, 24 July on Seven and 7plus Sport.
