In Tip Toe, Cumming plays Leo, a Canal Street bar owner, while Morrissey stars as Clive, an electrician raising two teenage sons. The pair begin as neighbours before their lives spiral into conflict, eventually becoming deadly enemies.

Filmed entirely in Manchester, the series examines prejudice and social division through the lens of suburban life. According to the release, the drama combines suspense with Davies’ trademark humour and wit.

The supporting cast includes Pooky Quesnel as Marie, Jackson Connor as George, Joseph Evans as Saul, Elizabeth Berrington as Stephanie, Iz Hesketh as Zee, Shakeel Kimotho as Hanna, Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo as Judy, Paul Rhys as Melba, Charlie Condou as Curtis and Denise Welch as Diane.

Tip Toe is produced by Quay Street Productions, part of ITV Studios. Executive producers include Nicola Shindler, Russell T. Davies, Peter Hoar and Alan Cumming.

The series is produced by Phil Collinson, directed by Peter Hoar and cast by Andy Pryor. ITV Studios will distribute the series internationally.

Tip Toe premieres with episodes one and two on BINGE and Foxtel On Demand on 2 June, with the remaining episodes streaming on 9 June. Foxtel customers can also watch the double-episode premiere on Showcase at 8.30pm on 2 June.
