hauntTV and Love Pets now streaming on Foxtel, featuring ghost stories, animal rescues, and more.
Blue Ant Media has expanded its presence in the Australian market, launching two new linear channels — HauntTV and Love Pets — on Foxtel as part of an extended partnership between the international media company and the local pay TV provider.
The new channel additions are available to subscribers using iQ4 and above set-top boxes (via IP only), with both channels also supported across Foxtel’s video-on-demand (VOD) services.
The move strengthens Blue Ant’s relationship with Foxtel, where the media company already supplies natural history programming under its NatureTime brand.
Key Points
- HauntTV and Love Pets are now accessible to Foxtel subscribers via linear and on-demand services
- The expanded agreement builds on Blue Ant Media’s existing content relationship with Foxtel
- Programming spans paranormal documentaries and animal-focused factual series
HauntTV, a channel devoted to paranormal themes, features a range of international documentary-style series. Key programming includes Haunted Case Files, following ghost hunters and mediums recounting their most intense encounters, and Hotel Paranormal, narrated by Dan Aykroyd, which relays stories of supernatural events experienced in hotels.
Other featured titles include Eli Roth Presents: A Ghost Ruined My Life, led by horror filmmaker Eli Roth, and Scariest Night of My Life, which profiles chilling first-person experiences.
Meanwhile, Love Pets showcases animal-focused factual content. Australian series The Bizarre Pet Vets leads the line-up, documenting the work of local veterinarians treating a variety of unconventional pets.
The channel also includes all ten seasons of Hope for Wildlife, which follows Canadian wildlife rescuer Hope Swinimer and her team, as well as Work on the Wild Side, which tracks British professionals who have relocated to South Africa to aid in wildlife rehabilitation efforts.
“These recent launches have significantly expanded the reach of our curated pets and paranormal programming on Love Pets and HauntTV to Foxtel’s audience,”
said Jon Penn, Managing Director, Asia Pacific, at Blue Ant Media.
“The channels and content included in this deal exemplify Blue Ant Media’s agility and solutions-based approach to offering great content for our partners across all platforms in the Asia Pacific region.”
