The Chicago Bears are anticipated to select USC Quarterback Caleb Williams first overall in the draft. Other notable quarterbacks expected to be picked early are Jayden Daniels from LSU, Drake Maye from North Carolina, and J.J McCarthy from Michigan. Top wide receivers like Marvin Harrison Jr from Ohio State and Rome Odunze from Washington are also predicted to be selected in the early rounds.

The third pick, held by the New England Patriots, is particularly intriguing. Following their trade of Mac Jones to the Jaguars, and with a new era beginning under coach Jerod Mayo, the Patriots are reportedly considering a quarterback to build around, amidst rumours of potential trades.

ESPN’s 2024 NFL Draft Coverage Details:

The draft kicks off on ESPN2 at 10am AEST on Friday, April 26, preceded by five hours of live studio programming. This includes NFL Live, College GameDay, and NFL Draft Countdown, all leading up to the opening round.

ESPN’s coverage will feature prominent draft commentators such as draft expert Mel Kiper Jr., former NFL players Booger McFarland (1999 Draftee) and Louis Riddick (1991 Draftee), along with NFL Senior Insider Adam Schefter who will provide the latest updates and potential trade news live from Detroit.

Adding to the expert lineup, Nick Saban, the legendary former head coach of Alabama Crimson Tide, will make his debut as an analyst on College GameDay.
