It’s not great news for Nine’s LEGO MASTERS AUSTRALIA which got bounced into fourth in overall primetime.

PRIMETIME ANALYSIS

Farmer Wants A Wife (923,000 avg) (lw 893k) on Seven solidified its position as the first placed show in primetime, with the season sixteen(!) premiere of MasterChef Australia (776,000 avg) on Channel 10 drawing second in the commercial race/third in the slot overall. This pushed Lego Masters Australia vs The World (728,000 avg) (lw 785k) on Nine into a tight run for third commercially/fourth including the ABC.

Commercial 7pm:
A Current Affair (1,053,000 avg) on Nine
Home and Away (843,000 avg) on Seven
The Project (375,000 avg) (6:30pm-7:30pm) on 10.

Monday’s schedule for the ABC pulls second in primetime with the 7:30 (688,000 avg) (lw 878k)/Australian Story (774,000 avg) (lw 786k) double, and strong offerings from 4 Corners (664,000 avg) (lw 595k) and Media Watch (645,000 avg) (lw 646k) who both led later primetime. The Rise and Fall of Boris Johnson (296,000 avg) (lw 338k) still doing better on average than Q+A which it replaces.

Later primetime gave 9-1-1 (410,000 avg) (lw 369k) on Seven a sneaky win over Paramedics (402,000 avg) (lw 455k) on Nine, with a teaser first ep of A Gentleman in Moscow (219,000 avg) on 10 to promote the series on Paramount+ managing half the comparative audience.
