Skye Wheatley claims victory on I’m a Celebrity 2024, outlasting Tristan MacManus and Callum Hole.
After spending four weeks in a challenging jungle environment with fellow celebrities and dealing with unexpected wildlife, Skye Wheatley has been declared the 2024 winner of ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’, taking home the coveted jungle crown.
The announcement followed a final public vote that saw the highest participation in the show’s history.
On the last day in the jungle, the top three contenders, Skye Wheatley, Tristan MacManus, and Callum Hole, enjoyed emotional reunions with their families. Skye was met by her partner Lachlan and their children, Forest and Bear, sharing a touching moment. Similarly, Callum joyfully reunited with his father, Phil, beside the creek, and Tristan shared a memorable embrace with his eldest child, Echo.
The heartwarming family reunions were followed by the ‘Wheels of Misfortune’ challenge, where the celebrities, aided by their loved ones, competed in a quirky bicycle race down a path leading into a dam. Despite the distractions from family members, all three contestants succeeded in earning three stars in this final trial.
The evening before the results, the group reflected on their time together, discussing both the highs and the lows of their jungle experience over a lavish final meal. As the votes were counted, Callum Hole was announced in third place, leaving Skye and Tristan as the final two. Ultimately, Skye Wheatley was voted the winner, securing a $100,000 prize for her chosen charity, Bully Zero.
Reflecting on her jungle journey, Skye expressed profound gratitude:
“I’m so blessed to have experienced that. I want to say thank you to everyone here for having me.”
When asked about her personal highlight, Skye found it difficult to choose just one moment, summarising her experience as transformative:
“I feel like the whole journey, the whole experience has taught me so many things, and I just can’t wait to apply those things I’ve learned in the jungle in my everyday life.”
