Spanning over five decades, the documentary delves into Gudinski’s profound impact on Australia’s music landscape, charting his journey from a passionate 19-year-old who founded Mushroom Records to becoming a pivotal force behind the careers of some of Australia’s most iconic musicians such as Skyhooks, Split Enz, Jimmy Barnes, Paul Kelly, Hunters & Collectors, Kylie Minogue, Archie Roach, and Yothu Yindi.
Known for his entrepreneurial spirit and daring risks in the name of Australian music, Gudinski also made significant strides on the global stage, promoting international stars like Foo Fighters, Ed Sheeran, Bruce Springsteen, and Sting. His efforts have left an indelible mark on the musical memories of Australians across the country.
