Nine start the new portion of the ratings season well out in front…and with only one MAFS episode left, it’s about to get real serious.

*** NOTE: NEW METRICS AND REPORTS ***

  • Total TV Overnight Top 30 and Consolidated 7 Top 30 National Total TV reach is calculated using cumulative unique audiences watching 1 min of broadcast TV and 15 sec of BVOD.
  • Total TV National audience is calculated using the audience average for the program as time-coded by the Network across 5CM and all regional markets nationally watching on broadcast TV and BVOD.
  • BVOD national audience is calculated using the total number of minutes watched (including co-viewing) divided by the length of the program.

PRIMETIME ANALYSIS

Entirely one-way traffic (as expected) for the second last ep of this season of Married At First Sight (1,706,000 avg) (lw 1.452m) on Nine. Huge numbers, though not as big as earlier in the season. The 1% Club Australia (853,000 avg) on Seven delivered a consistent if distant second place that pushed I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! Australia (564,000 avg) (lw 491k) on Channel 10 into a deep third.

The Sunday Project (293,000 avg) (lw 228k) on 10 is continuing to be an anchor around the Network’s Sunday primetime schedule.

Death in Paradise (789,000 avg) (lw 661k) and the season thirteen premiere of Vera (876,000 avg) went large for the ABC, with the latter winning the later primetime slot.

60 Minutes (734,000 avg) (lw 793k) on Nine ended up as the best of the commercials also, well ahead of Carl Barron: Skating Rink for Flies (418,000 avg) on Seven and FBI (204,000 avg) on 10. One wonders how the return of. 7NEWS Spotlight will feature/affect later primetime given the current dramas surrounding its leadership (and the Network).
