Australians are continuing to connect to ABC iview, with the streaming service cementing itself as Australia’s #1 on demand free to air BVOD service in the first 29 days of the year*.

Over January, audiences embraced ABC iview’s compelling new shows including, the final instalment of the critically acclaimed political drama Total Control, heart-warming family favourite Muster Dogs, Julia Donaldson’s delightful animation Tabby McTat, the inspiring Grand Designs Transformations, the whodunit dramedy of Darby and Joan and adding calm to bedtime routines across the country with the Ninganah Lullaby.

This summer, ABC iview has even more reason to celebrate, with the launch of four live, digital pop-up streams, the only service in Australia to offer live streams completely ad free. Spanning different genres, the streams include all the episodes from some of our most popular shows, available on continuous loop.

Audiences can dip into episodes of Fisk, Doc Martin and Kangaroo Beach while the Australian Story stream features a curated selection of episodes from the multiple award-winning series.

ABC Head of Programming, Acquisitions and Streaming Roberta Allan says,

“We’re thrilled to see ABC iview continue to be Australia’s #1 on demand FTA BVOD service, free and ad free.”

“With a strong content slate of new and returning titles, greater personalisation, improved navigation, even more binge drops and other exciting new initiatives planned, it’s a terrific time for Australian audiences to embrace ABC iview.”

Dropping this month is the explosive political documentary Nemesis, the compelling new Australian drama House of Gods, the dating show with a difference Better Date than Never and the return of ABC weekly laugh fest with Hard Quiz and The Weekly with Charlie Pickering.
