The new Netflix Aussie TV drama Boy Swallows Universe, produced by Brouhaha Entertainment, Chapter One Pictures and Anonymous Content has taken 1980s Brisbane to the global charts.
Since its release last Thursday, the limited series has gained 3.6M views and is currently #5 in the global Top 10 TV Show and #2 in Australia’s Top 10.
The series, hailed as a “one-of-a-kind Australian period piece” (Luke Buckmaster, Guardian Australia), has hit the Weekly Top 10 in 47 countries including #8 in the UK and #10 in the USA.
Fans are frothing, calling it “beautiful, brilliant and uplifting”, “a 10/10 Netflix show” and “compulsory viewing.”

Boy Swallows Universe is the latest Australian story to feature in the Netflix Top 10 with Love Is In The Air recently landing at #2 in the global Top 10 and Surviving Summer Season 2 landing at #7.
Other Australian productions recently featured in the Top 10 include hits Fisk, Run Rabbit Run, Wellmania, True Spirit, The Stranger and Heartbreak High.
