Can the twelfth season of MKR continue this success laid before it? We’ll know this time next week…

Channel 7

Home & Away (472,000) soldiers on for Seven before the last of the Monday eps of this season of The Voice Australia (666,000) wins primetime. This bled into the triple-dose of US dramas that flesh out the later part of Monday for the network, starting with The Rookie (242,000) then sliding into The Rookie: Feds (131,000) and Chicago Fire (45,000).

Seven first in both primary (22.6%) and network (31%) rankings.

Channel 9

A Current Affair (735,000) comes in hot as The Block (622,000) cools after a win last night for Nine. Missing Persons Investigation (275,000) continues to do reasonable but not timeslot winning numbers before the schedule split for 100% Footy (57,000 BNE/SYD) or Footy Classified (112,000 MEL/ADL/PER). Mr Mayor (37,000) was broadcast toward the end of the night for some reason.

Nine second in both primary (20.3%) and network (26.7%) rankings.

ABC

7:30 (417,000) and the return of Australian Story (426,000) open the ABC’s night with solid primetime figures, not least of which is because the latter focused on Alone Australia winner Gina Chick (a ripper story). Four Corners (417,000) and Media Watch (418,000) subsequently held a good chunk of those viewers, before Q+A (218,000) saw a small lift week-on-week though is well off its best for the year. A repeat of Space 22 (36,000) did little other than keep the signal humming.

ABC third in primary (13.3%) and fourth in network (17.4%) rankings.

Channel 10

The Project (190,000 6:30pm; 296,000 7pm) opened 10’s account with its best performance for the week, followed by a struggling The Traitors Australia (207,000) that isn’t converting any viewers. Have You Been Paying Attention? (438,000) suffers in part because of the lead-in however still delivers consistently as one of the highest-rating non News/entertainment shows on Mondays. The less said about repeats of Inspired Unemployed (Impractical) Jokers (202,000) and FBI: Most Wanted (66,000) the better.

10 fourth in primary (11.9%) and third in network (17.8%) rankings.

SBS

Not a lot of interest in SBS’s Monday offerings, starting with Finding Your Roots (117,000), and running through Britain’s Most Expensive Houses (57,000) and 24 Hours in Emergency (69,000).

SBS fifth in both primary (3.5%) and network (7.2%) rankings.
