It’s not great news for Seven and Nine at 7:30pm, frankly.

Channel 9

A Current Affair (678,000) gives Nine its best for the night, as Rush (292,000) struggles to even match its premiere from the night before. Wimbledon 2023: Day 1 (140,000) opened its account for the two-week run, allowing all those tired Cricket eyes to rest (or get more tired).

Nine first in primary (17%) and second in network (24.7%) rankings.

Channel 7

Home & Away (476,000) led the night for Seven with their best numbers, as Million Dollar Island Australia (271,000) slides on the minuscule gain it drew last week, back in fourth place again. A double ep of 9-1-1: Lone Star (172,000; 111,000) got smaller until it landed in The Blacklist (32,000).

Seven second in primary (16.9%) and first in network (25.6%) rankings.

Channel 10

The best ratings for The Project (206,000 6:30pm; 318,000 7pm) for the week, and even MasterChef Australia (508,000) lifts to slot second in primetime, with Have You Been Paying Attention? (604,000) taking the night as the highest-rating entertainment program with ease. Just For Laughs Australia (208,000) enjoyed the lead-in, though new and repeat eps of FBI: Most Wanted (68,000; 42,000) slip into the evening with a smaller audience.

10 third in both primary (14.8%) and network (22%) rankings.

ABC

A slightly revamped Monday offers a solid return for the ABC. 7:30 (561,000) and the return of Back Roads (515,000) for season nine slid easily into first in primetime! Four Corners (449,000) and Media Watch (406,000) dipped on past weeks, while Jonestown: Terror In The Jungle (139,000) remains in place of Q+A ahead of China Tonight (82,000).

ABC fourth in both primary (13.7%) and network (18.1%) rankings.

SBS

The early choices by SBS meant Robson Green’s Weekend Escapes (134,000) and The Great House Revival (92,000) led the pack ahead of Tour de France 2023: Stage 3 (103,000).

SBS fifth in both primary (5.5%) and network (9.6%) rankings.

KEY DEMOS

16-39: Have You Been Paying Attention? (145,000) led Seven News 6:30pm/6pm, and Nine News 6pm/6:30pm.

18-49: Have You Been Paying Attention? (248,000) beat Seven News 6:30pm/6pm, MasterChef Australia, and Nine News 6pm.

25-54: Have You Been Paying Attention? (295,000) brings home another triple-demo win for 10, followed by Seven News 6pm/6:30pm, and Nine News 6:30pm/6pm.

MULTI-CHANNELS

Doc Martin – PM (125,000) on 7TWO rips in a multi-channel win for the Seven Network.
