Following a thrilling conclusion to the A-League finals series, football fans across Australia are set for a treat as international football makes a triumphant return this week. The Socceroos and Joeys will be in action, with live coverage across Network 10, 10 Bold, 10 Play, and Paramount+.

In a momentous event, the Socceroos will face off against Argentina, the reigning 2022 FIFA World Cup champions. The match, scheduled for Thursday night, will commence live from 9.30pm AEST and will be broadcasted on Network 10 and Paramount+.

The encounter serves as a chance for redemption for the Socceroos, who were knocked out by Argentina in the Round of 16 during the World Cup. The South American champions, boasting the legendary Lionel Messi in their ranks, will be a formidable adversary.

Hosted in China, this international friendly will witness a blend of seasoned Australian World Cup veterans and emerging talents. It’s part of coach Graham Arnold’s strategy as he prepares his side for the 2026 World Cup qualifying campaign, slated to kick off this November.
