If it had a ball, it rated (including 60 Minutes).
Channel 7
All about the sports for Seven, with a massive result for both on a Sunday night:
ICC World Test Championship Day 5 S1 (524,000 (423,000 Seven BNE/SYD/PER; 101,000 7mate MEL/ADL))
and Seven’s AFL: Sunday Night Football (339,000 (265,000 Seven MEL/ADL; 74,000 7mate BNE/SYD/PER)).
Seven first in both primary (23.8%) and network (37%) rankings.
Channel 9
A solid 60 Minutes (511,000) opens the account for Nine, but repeats of MOVIE: Bohemian Rhapsody (237,000) and The Show Must Go On: The Queen + Adam Lambert Story (131,000) attract a diminishing audience against stiff competition.
Nine second in both primary (19.1%) and network (26.9%) rankings.
Channel 10
A quieter night for 10, with both The Sunday Project (175,000 6:30pm; 245,000 7pm) and MasterChef Australia (397,000) slipping on last week’s numbers, though still consistent overall. FBI (179,000) and repeat of NCIS: Hawaii (110,000) draw even smaller crowds into the late night.
10 third in both primary (11%) and network (15.7%) rankings.
ABC
Designing A Legacy (299,000) is the ABC’s best for the night, followed by Silent Witness (263,000) and an ever-slipping The Messenger (97,000). Repeats of In Limbo (44,000) and Interview with the Vampire (DNR) close out a quiet evening. Another new episode of Bluey (563,000) almost bests everything on the commercial networks.
ABC fourth in both primary (9.7%) and network (12.5%) rankings.
SBS
Marc Fennell’s excellent documentary The Kingdom (116,000) leads SBS’s night, followed by a repeat of Acropoiis: The Ancient Builders (65,000) and Patagonia (58,000).
SBS fifth in both primary (4.3%) and network (7.9%) rankings.
