It’s a race in two parts – 6pm to 7pm, then 7pm to midnight (again).

Channel 7

Home & Away (440,000 7pm; 383,000 7:30pm-8:30pm Late) runs in as Seven’s best before the audience drops for Britain’s Got Talent (238,000), however The Front Bar (326,000) steps up afterwards. A few people stick around for the late night airing of Fantasy Island (45,000).

Seven first in both primary (21.9%) and network (31%) rankings.

Nine take a win with A Current Affair (577,000) before pivoting into a night of medical ob-doc and reality with RBT (414,000), Paramedics (301,000), Embarrassing Bodies (148,000), and A+E After Dark (47,000).

Nine second in both primary (19.7%) and network (27.6%) rankings.

ABC

7:30 (449,000) and Foreign Correspondent (301,000) deliver a reasonable audience to the ABC, before the rest of the night all but vanishes. Grand Designs New Zealand (257,000) led into repeats of Miriam and Alan: Lost in Scotland (160,000), Art Works (72,000), and Great Australian Stuff (31,000).

ABC third in both primary (11.9%) and network (17.1%) rankings.

Channel 10

The Project (163,000 6:30pm; 267,000 7pm) is doing its best to hold up 10’s emergency schedule, though MasterChef Australia will kick off on Sunday. Repeats of The Dog House Australia (229,0000) and Law & Order: SVU (113,000) lead into a double ep of The Bridge Australia (54,000; 34,000), which finishes the series and rounds out the night.

10 fourth in both primary (7.4%) and network (15.2%) rankings.
