Seven finally crack a great result for AUSTRALIAN IDOL, however it still didn’t come close to MARRIED AT FIRST SIGHT…and AUSTRALIAN SURVIVOR does great business too!

Channel 9

Married At First Sight (924,000) lands a massive audience again for Nine, and it bolsters a great return for 60 Minutes (569,000) also. Australian Crime Stories (128,000) and The First 48 (70,000) pull a small number in the late night.

Nine first in both primary (24.7%) and network (33.6%) rankings.

Channel 7

The season finale of Australian Idol (585,000 (573,000 finale; 596,000 winner)) pulls its best figures for the season for Seven and manages to claw back its first second place in the Sunday primetime slot this year. Starstruck (258,000) pulls an OK viewership, and the late night offerings of Manhunt (82,000) and Born to Kill? (52,000) keep a few interested.

Seven second in both primary (21.9%) and network (28.9%) rankings.

ABC

Death In Paradise (469,000) started the night as what would be the best on the ABC, followed by Aussie drama In Our Blood (182,000) and Close to Me (137,000). The rest of the night was filled out with repeats of Finding Alice (33,000) and Last Tango in Halifax (DNR).

ABC third in primary (10.6%) and fourth in network (14.8%) rankings.

Channel 10

The Sunday Project (165,000 6:30pm; 229,000 7pm) struggles though lands a half-decent audience for 10, and Australian Survivor (522,000) lifts to a solid penultimate ep audience response. NCIS: Hawaii (155,000) pulls a bunch of fans, and a double repeat of FBI (106,000; 81,000) barely does that in the late night.

10 fourth in primary (10.4%) and third in network (15.6%) rankings.
