Nothing has touched it so far – and ain’t nothing going to touch it before it ends.

Channel 9

Married At First Sight (927,000) again lands huge for Nine, and even 60 Minutes (554,000) gets a solid lift on last week. Australian Crime Stories (144,000) and The First 48 (75,000) keep a few connected though not a huge audience.

Nine first in both primary (28.2%) and network (35.2%) rankings.

Channel 7

Australian Idol (467,000) delivers a solid audience for Seven though it doesn’t do enough to land better than fourth in the slot. Repeats of An Audience with Adele (200,000) and Manhunt (62,000), along with new Born to Kill? (42,000), keep only a few attached.

Seven second in both primary (18.4%) and network (25.3%) rankings.

Channel 10

The Sunday Project (178,000 6:30pm; 290,000 7pm) isn’t helping 10, or doing much to support Australian Survivor (552,000) which, with only three eps to go, has been massive for the Network. NCIS: Hawaii (170,000) and a double repeat ep of FBI (143,000; 95,000) close out the evening.

10 third in both primary (12%) and network (16.9%) rankings.

ABC

Death in Paradise (485,000) offered a great start to the ABC, which then promptly shrank with the premiere of In Our Blood (192,000). The rest of the night rolled out with repeats of Rampant: How a City Stopped a Plague (111,000) and Queerstralia (35,000).

ABC fourth in both primary (10.6%) and network (14.4%) rankings.

SBS

Bettany Hughes: Treasures of Jordan (112,000) led SBS’s night, followed by Lost City of Gaul: Unearthing Bibracte (127,000) and the night finished with a repeat of Edward VIII: Britain’s Traitor King (115,000).

SBS fifth in both primary (5%) and network (8.1%) rankings.

  1. ABC is really going to miss having “Vera” on Sunday nights. Their ratings really dropped off at 8:30 without it.

    • Hi Ian – completely agree. Vera did massive business for the ABC, such is the (older) appetite for this great series.
