DAVID WOIWOD promoted to US Bureau Chief as ASHLEE MULLANY moves to Europe

Seven News has announced changes to its European and US bureaus, with new roles and responsibilities set to come into effect later this year.

Current US Bureau Chief Ashlee Mullany will move continents to become the network’s Europe correspondent based in London.

David Woiwod, a current US correspondent, will take over as US Bureau Chief from May onwards. Mylee Hogan, who is currently based in Sydney, will join correspondent Tim Lester in the US news division.

The reshuffling of roles and responsibilities is part of the network’s efforts to provide comprehensive coverage of world events to its audience.

With these changes, Seven News will continue to strengthen its presence in Europe and the US, bringing in new talent and skill sets to deliver exceptional news coverage to its viewers.

Craig McPherson, Network Director of News and Public Affairs, emphasised the importance of the network’s bureaus in the success of their on-air programming. He added,

“These changes ensure our viewers will continue to receive the very best coverage of world events, wherever and whenever they occur.”

Current Europe correspondent Sarah Greenhalgh will remain with the network, with a new role yet to be disclosed. Hugh Whitfeld will continue his role as Europe Bureau Chief.
