Nothing is stopping Nine in Q1.

Channel 9

Another massive commitment ceremony on Nine means nothing comes close to Married At First Sight (867,000), which, for everyone else’s sake, it is just as well it only has a couple of weeks to go. 60 Minutes (480,000) does very well though is pushed into second behind the ABC in the slot. Repeats of Australian Crime Stories (116,000) and a new ep of The First 48 (78,000) fill up the late night.

Nine first in both primary (25.4%) and network (32.7%) rankings.

ABC

Another huge Sunday night for the ABC, starting with a massive Death in Paradise (572,000) – second in primetime – and building into an even bigger ep of
Vera (611,000) – which wins its slot. Afterwards, the night tailed into repeats of Queerstralia (80,000) and Finding Alice (31,000).

ABC second in primary (17.6%) and third in network (21.4%) rankings.

Channel 7

After the News finishes for Seven it’s an unhappy hunting ground. Australian Idol (417,000) is doing reasonable numbers however that finds it in a distant fourth in primetime. Ed Sheeran v Adele (194,000) isn’t going to to anything to lift that (in fact the audience shrinks) into repeat of Manhunt (89,000) and Born to Kill? (53,000).

Seven third in primary (16.2%) and second in network (22.1%) rankings.

Channel 10

As has become usual, it’s only about one show for 10, and The Sunday Project (163,000 6:30pm; 239,000 7pm) isn’t it. Australian Survivor (498,000) still doing massive business – enough to keep it clear of Seven in the primetime slot and own third on Sundays. Afterwards it’s deep fan service with NCIS: Hawaii (134,000) and a repeat of FBI (101,000).

10 fourth in both primary (11.3%) and network (16.3%) rankings.

SBS

The night was pretty quiet for SBS, starting with Bettany Hughes: Treasures of Albania (114,000), before pivoting into repeats of What Killed the Roman Empire? (90,000) and Castles: Secrets, Mysteries and Legends (79,000).

SBS fifth in both primary (4.5%) and network (7.5%) rankings.
