The overnights AND the BVOD/catch-up numbers are pushing MAFS way out in front of its competitors, as last week’s ep cracks 2m viewers!

Channel 9

Nine remain unbeatable on Sundays (for now). Married At First Sight (928,000) slips a little on last week though still is streets ahead of its competitor, while 60 Minutes (433,000) does well however is bounced into second in the slot behind the ABC. Australian Crime Stories (157,000) and The First 48 (79,000) do bits but not heaps in the late night.

Nine first in both primary (26.1%) and network (31.9%) rankings.

ABC

A blinder primetime for the ABC, with both Death in Paradise (575,000) and Vera (602,000) doing exceptional business – the former coming second; the latter taking its slot easily. Butterfly (107,000) and a repeat of Sydney World Pride Opening Concert 2023 (48,000) finish out a big night.

ABC second in primary (17.8%) and third in network (21.2%) rankings.

Channel 7

After the News, Seven deliver a solid line-up that unfortunately doesn’t compete. Australian Idol (451,000) does good business though is pushed into fourth (third in commercial FTA). George Michael V Elton John (221,000) also draws a reasonable audience afterwards, though Maternal (92,000) and Born to Kill? (45,000) can’t bring it home competitively.

Seven third in primary (17.5%) and second in network (23%) rankings.

Channel 10

The Sunday Project (171,000 6:30pm; 275,000 7pm) struggles off a soft-lead in from 10’s News product, though Australian Survivor (483,000) pushes ahead and takes a solid third in primetime (second in commercial FTA). NCIS: Hawaii (154,000) and a repeat of FBI (101,000) both manage to secure a decent late night audience.

10 fourth in both primary (11.3%) and network (16.5%) rankings.

Ancient Egypt by Train (129,000) leads SBS’s night, followed by Lost Worlds and Hidden Treasures: Tutankhamun (85,000) and The Abyss: Rise and Fall of the Nazis (74,000).

SBS fifth in both primary (3.7%) and network (7.5%) rankings.
