Get ready for a wild ride with the new Australian original series Last King of the Cross, streaming from today exclusively on Paramount+.
This operatic tale follows the story of two brothers, John (Lincoln Younes) and Sam Ibrahim (Claude Jabbour) as they rise to power in the criminal underworld of Sydney’s Kings Cross.
Based on John Ibrahim’s bestselling autobiography of the same name, this 10-part drama follows John’s journey from a poor immigrant with no prospects to becoming Australia’s most infamous nightclub mogul.
But as he climbs to the top, John must make tough decisions and eliminate his enemies. However, all of this comes at a cost – what good is it to gain a kingdom, but lose your soul?
In addition to the talented cast, the series also features a special collaboration between award-winning Australian musicians Kate Miller-Heidke and Marcus Bridge.
They have reinterpreted Miller-Heidke’s multi-platinum hit “The Last Day on Earth” for the show, which will be released by EMI Music Australia on January 19. Fans can use the sound on TikTok starting today.
Don’t miss out on this epic tale of power, loyalty, and sacrifice.
