Seven and the ABC have a swing but can’t come close to Nine’s reality renovation juggernaut.

The Block (1,040,000) cracks the million for the first time for Nine this season with more to be expected as it starts to slowly taper to the end. 60 Minutes (559,000) blitzes its major competition off the back of a massive lead-in. The wheels fell off in the late night as The First 48 (116,000) and Killer Couples (63,000) are less than competitive.
Nine first in both primary (28.3%) and network (34.6%) rankings.

Farmer Wants A Wife (489,000) lifts for Seven, however still way off the pace of its main competitor. 7News Spotlight (238,000) continues to be very hit and miss, with last night delivering a big miss. Repeats of Homicide: With Ron Iddles (157,000) and Undercurrent: Real Murder Investigation (70,000) do about the same as the late night shows did for 10.
Seven second in both primary (18.7%) and network (27.5%) rankings.

Spicks and Specks (446,000) led the charge for the ABC, delivering exactly the same as last week. Savage River (323,000) bounces up nearly 80k on last week, and Silent Witness (209,000) sees a bump too. Repeats of The Newsreader (57,000) and Harrow (DNR) finish out the night.
ABC third in both primary (12.2%) and network (16.2%) rankings.

The story isn’t getting any better for 10. The Sunday Project (210,000 6:30pm; 278,000 7pm) is getting weaker, and it’s affecting The Amazing Race Australia (291,000) which, to its credit, lifted a little on last week and delivered the same as last Sunday – but in primetime under 300k isn’t enough for first broadcast. You can’t lean on Total TV that much. NCIS: Hawaii (117,000) and a repeat of FBI (85,000) entertain only real fans or insomniacs.
10 fourth in both primary (8.5%) and network (13.5%) rankings.

A quiet night on SBS, leading with Pelosi’s Power (128,000), then into repeats of Great Wall of China: The Making of China (85,000) and Moulin Rouge: Behind the Magic (58,000).
SBS fifth in both primary (4.5%) and network (8.2%) rankings.
