In the new Channel 7 series Kitchen Nightmares Australia, outspoken, award-winning chef Colin Fassnidge lifts the lid on local restaurants flirting with failure.
The new series is now confirmed to premiere Wednesday, October 12 on Channel 7. It will be a big week for new content on the network with the new season of Australia’s Got Talent premiering on Sunday October 9.
Promo’s for the series indicate there will be plenty of foul language in the new series which is based on a format made famous by Gordon Ramsey.
Colin Fassnidge uses his 28 years of restaurant experience to provide honest feedback and practical insights to real-life business owners whose livelihoods are on the line by going behind the kitchen doors of a different establishment each week.
TV Blackbox understands a beeped-out version of the show will air in the 7:30pm timeslot on free-to-air. However, those wishing to enjoy the full experience will be able to stream episodes uncensored on 7Plus.
As Colin exposes where the kitchens go wrong before arming the owners and staff with the secrets to running a profitable restaurant, tensions rise and conflicts arise.
Can Colin’s tough love turn the Kitchen Nightmares of these restaurant owners into a dream?
Eureka Productions produces Kitchen Nightmares Australia for the Seven Network, based on the hit global format distributed by All3Media International.
