As programming returns to “normal”, life finds a way…

The Block (983,000) delivers its second best figures for the year for another room reveal, followed by a royal 60 Minutes (591,000) feature on our new King. 9News Presents: Elizabeth at 90 – A Family Tribute (252,000) completes the evening for a win.
Nine first in both primary (28.5%) and network (34.3%) rankings.

A late (Saturday) change in Seven’s schedule means Farmer Wants A Wife, even though it aired, didn’t end up in the official ratings for Sunday night (EDIT: Seven PR have advised 5CM was 575,000). Consequently the figure has been consumed into what was scheduled as 7News: The Queen’s Final Journey Begins (438,000 7pm; 127,000 10:30pm Late), so for their sake just imagine a lot of people watched it.
Seven second in both primary (20.8%) and network (27.8%) rankings.

The Queen and Us (340,000) (coded incorrectly as “Spicks and Specks) draws a loyal audience not otherwise engaged, followed by Aussie drama Savage River (309,000). Silent Witness (188,000) and repeats of The Newsreader (58,000) and The Capture (DNR) finish the evening.
ABC third in both primary (11.5%) and network (15.9%) rankings.

Once we skip past The Sunday Project (230,000 6:30pm; 280,000 7pm) things don’t improve too greatly. The Amazing Race Australia (319,000) is way off the pace, as US dramas NCIS: Hawaii (194,000) and a repeat of FBI (104,000) draw an audience in need of a free-to-air distraction.
10 fourth in both primary (9.6%) and network (15.9%) rankings.

SBS’s night is small, with Secrets of the Imperial War Museum (52,000), Bin Laden: The Road to 9/11 (52,000), and Looking for Life on Mars (DNR) rounding out the night.
SBS fifth in both primary (3.6%) and network (7.2%) rankings.
