The 100th episode features the welcome return of Emer Kenny as Bunty and Alex Price as Sid, while viewers will finally be introduced to the feted Lord Monty Montague, played by Alexander Hanson.

As 1953 comes to a close. Lady Felicia (Nancy Carroll) and Lord ‘Monty’ Montague (Alexander Hanson) host a lavish masked ball counting down to 1954.

But their plans are ruined when the Minister of Defence, Sir Charles Hakeworth (Richard Dillane) is murdered by a masked figure.

With the estate locked down and a killer in the midst Father Brown (Mark Williams) and the gang must find the real perpetrator.

Meanwhile, Lady Felicia is forced to confront problems in her marriage when a letter from a Flambeau (John Light) offers an exciting prospect in America.

When a second guest, Ruth Moulton (Cam Spence) is attacked by ‘the Red Death’, which seems unconnected to Sir Charles death, Dr Muthomi (Caleb Frederick) comes to her aid.

As the search for the killer intensifies Father Brown suspects there’s more to the case than first meets the eye. Can he piece together the mystery before the clock strikes 12 or is this the final waltz?

Father Brown has become a global success since making its BBC debut in 2013, and is now broadcast in more than 232 territories around the world, including primetime in the US.
