This weekend will see Seven Melbourne launch its new state-based lifestyle/leisure program The Great Weekend.

Presented by Jane Bunn, Brian Taylor, Jack Riewoldt and Brooke Hogan, The Great Weekend is promising to take a fresh look at unique locations, activities and accommodation on offer across Victoria.

The launch of The Great Weekend, comes as popular food program A Moveable Feast completes its run on Seven Melbourne. Hosted by 3AW presenters Ross and Kate Stevenson, A Moveable Feast has been hugely successful in the time-slot over the last 2 years.

TV Blackbox understands the presenters have opted to focus on their radio careers with a spokesperson for Seven stating; “At this stage there will not be a new season of A Moveable Feast.”

Embarking on an epic journey throughout Victoria The Great Weekend will showcase the best offerings, taking viewers on weekly adventures as the team jam-pack more things to see, eat and do in one weekend than ever before – making sure every weekend is a great weekend!

Brian Taylor, or BT as he is affectionately known, will add to his footy commentary duties and travel the state uncovering hidden gems and attractions.

In a change of pace, Seven News meteorologist and avid home-chef Jane Bunn will follow her foodie-passion and serve up some of the state’s fabulous food offerings.

Jack Riewoldt, Richmond Tigers star forward and premiership player, who always looks on the bright side, is up for anything and will be tackling the unpredictable, having fun along the way.

Rounding out the team is Melbourne born-and-bred international model Brooke Hogan whose love of the outdoors will see her visit a range of spectacular locations across Victoria.

  1. Strange that Seven Melbourne has opted to go with two of the most polarising figures in their stable. Jane Bunn and her weird presenting style. And Brian Taylor who seems to infuriate AFL viewers. Another management decision that makes no sense.

  2. Did you confirm that Ross & Kate were out? I think you’ll find the station made the call.
