Farmer Wants a Wife heats up with surprises and farewells. See who leaves and what’s next.
Monday evening’s episode of Farmer Wants A Wife on Channel 7 and 7plus featured a mix of romantic endeavours and challenging decisions as the farmers and their chosen partners sought deeper connections.
In the picturesque Snowy Mountains, Farmer Joe expressed concerns about his relationship with Sarah, noting her reserved nature:
“I feel like Sarah has definitely held back a bit. I don’t know if she is into me: if she really likes me or not.”
Meanwhile, Farmer Bert whisked Caitlin away for a surprise date on Queensland’s Bribie Island, which included an unexpected visit to Caitlin’s mother’s bait and tackle shop. Similarly, Farmer Tom shared his personal haunts with Sarah C, taking her to his favourite local spots.
Farmer Dustin opted for a uniquely Australian romantic gesture for his date with Chloe, comparing it to the lock tradition in Paris:
“It’s not Paris, but you know how in Paris they, like, do the lock thing? Yeah, well, this is the Condo version.”
The tranquility of the date settings contrasted sharply with the drama Farmer Dean faced, as he dealt with unsettling rumours about Teegan having a boyfriend, a concern he addressed during their date.
As the episode progressed, the emotional toll of the impending farm farewells became apparent. Farmer Joe found the goodbyes particularly difficult:
“I’m definitely taking these farewells a lot harder than I anticipated.”
In contrast, Farmer Dean found himself unable to decide which lady to send home, opting instead to take a solitary night away to reflect:
“The best choice for me was just to get away from the farm for the night and just think on my own and just try and get my head on the right track again.”
The farewells resulted in Caity leaving Bert’s farm and Taylah departing from Tom’s farm.
Tuesday night’s episode promises further complications, as Dean’s absence leaves his remaining partners uncertain of their future. Tiffany speculated on the outcomes:
“There’s a chance that we all could be staying. It all just could be too much and we all could be going home.”
Adding to the tension, host Sam Armytage announced a new twist involving family influence on the farmers’ choices:
“Your mother has chosen two incredible women. They are waiting in town for you right now.”
The show will also see a dramatic reduction in its cast, with five women and one farmer making their exit. The identities of those leaving will be revealed in the next episode.
