Netflix has confirmed production is underway on season three of The Gentleman, with Robert Carlyle, Elijah Wood and Orlando Bloom among a host of new cast members joining the crime drama.
Created by Guy Ritchie, the series will return with Theo James and Kaya Scodelario reprising their roles as Eddie and Susie, who embark on their most ambitious venture yet as they attempt to build a casino in the Middle East.
Carlyle (Line of Duty), Wood (Yellowjackets), Bloom (The Cut), Dexter Fletcher (Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels) and Bruna Marquezine (Blue Beetle) lead the new additions, alongside Ed Speleers, Saffron Burrows and Bugzy Malone.

Returning cast members include Ray Winstone, Joely Richardson, Vinnie Jones, Jasmine Blackborow, Harry Goodwins and Benjamin Clementine, with Maya Jama also back as Aisha, the glamorous and well-connected fixer introduced in season two.
The new season will see Eddie and Susie take on their most audacious project to date, but with danger lurking around every corner, the question remains whether Eddie’s ambition as the Duke has finally gone too far.
Ritchie, who returns as creator, writer and director alongside Matthew Read and Eran Creevy, said the expanding story had made another season a natural next step.
“The ambition of The Gentlemen has accelerated, the world has expanded and the consequences carry weight. A third season felt inevitable, and I’m looking forward to pushing the boundaries of it further.”
Season three is currently filming in the UK and Morocco, with eight episodes planned, each running for 60 minutes. The series is produced by Moonage Pictures for Netflix and Miramax TV.
