Disney+ Australia has today revealed the new cast joining The Artful Dodger as production gets underway on the third and final season of the hit Aussie series.

Ewen Leslie, Stephen Curry and Broden Kelly are among the new additions, joining returning stars Thomas Brodie-Sangster, David Thewlis, Maia Mitchell, Susie Porter and Tim Minchin for another round of high-stakes adventures in Sydney.

Disney+ has today announced the new cast of the third and final season of hit Australian premium scripted Hulu Original series The Artful Dodger, and that principal photography is now underway in Sydney, Australia.

Joining the outstanding cast is AACTA Award winner Ewen Leslie (Top of the Lake: China Girl, The Cry) in the role of Dr Silas Wickenby, TV WEEK Logie Award winner Stephen Curry (Hounds of Love, Bay of Fires) as Seth Pecksniff, and Broden Kelly (Auntie Donna, Colin from Accounts) as Sikes.
 
The incredible and much-loved ensemble cast returning includes Susie Porter as the formidable Lady Jane Fox, Damien Garvey as The Governor, Tim Minchin as the devious Darius Cracksworth, Lucy-Rose Leonard as the charming and funny Lady Fanny Fox, Nicholas Burton as Dr Sneed, and Vivienne Awosoga keeping the hospital running as Hetty.

Also returning to make trouble are Aljin Abella as Flashbang, New Zealand’s Albert Latailakepa as Aputi, and Brigid Zengeni as Rotty.
 
They join the accomplished and fan-favourite stars Thomas Brodie-Sangster (The Queen’s Gambit, Wolf Hall), David Thewlis (Landscapers, Avatar: Fire and Ash) and Maia Mitchell (Good Trouble, Never Goin’ Back), who are back in their respective roles as Dr Jack Dawkins, Norbert Fagin and Lady Belle Fox.
 
Pamela Rabe (Wentworth, Deadloch) and Justin Rosniak (Mr Inbetween, Colin from Accounts) will join the series in guest roles.
 
The high-octane new season promises more grit, bigger heists and bolder hijinks when it premieres on Disney+. The season will also debut on Hulu in the U.S.
 
The Artful Dodger Season 3 is a co-production with Sony Pictures Television’s Curio Pictures. Curio Pictures’ Jo Porter and Rachel Gardner are Executive Producers/Producers, with Chris Martin-Jones (A Place to Call Home, Home and Away) as Series Producer.
 
Ben Young (The Twelve, Clickbait) and Ben C. Lucas (The Survivors, High Country) serve as Directors, and multi-award-winner and BAFTA nominee, Andrew Knight (Jack Irish, Rake), leads the scripting as Executive Producer, alongside Dan Knight (Irreverent) as Script Producer, who has written across all three seasons. Andrew Knight was also the first season’s Co-Script Lead and Co-Executive Producer.

NSW State Government is supporting Season 3 through Screen NSW’s Made in NSW Fund. Post, digital and visual effects also supported by Screen NSW.

Seasons 1 and 2 of The Artful Dodger are now streaming on Disney+ globally and on Hulu in the U.S. The series was co-created by James McNamara, David Maher and David Taylor.

Season three is expected to premiere on Disney+ in 2027, with an exact release date yet to be announced.
