Just days after BINGE’s new reality competition series Apocalypse premiered down under, it appears producers are already looking ahead to a second season.
The casting call has gone out for Australians aged 18 and over to take part in the next instalment, with applicants facing 28 days in an abandoned, remote environment without light, power, water, heat or the usual comforts of modern life.
Locally, the series is narrated by former Australian Survivor host Jonathan LaPaglia, with the first two episodes launching on BINGE and Foxtel On Demand on Wednesday, September 16, followed by weekly episodes.
The casting call reads:
“We are looking for people with a wide range of skill sets, resilience and life experience to put themselves to the ultimate test.”
“No survival or outdoor experience is necessary.”
Applicants must be aged 18 or over, be an Australian resident with a valid passport and be available to travel overseas for five consecutive weeks in March or April 2027.
The series is a co-production between BINGE and Channel 4, produced by The Garden and ITV Studios Australia, and filmed at the abandoned Muscatatuck Urban Training Center in Indiana, US.
Applications close at midnight on 1 November 2026.
