Fourteen Australians and Brits are being put to the ultimate survival test in BINGE’s new reality series Apocalypse, with the first trailer offering a glimpse at what awaits them.
Narrated by Jonathan LaPaglia, a surprise addition announced earlier this month, the series will see the group spend 28 days in an abandoned city without power, running water or food, as they attempt to survive together.
The series is a co-commission between BINGE and the UK’s Channel 4, with the 14 participants bringing a mix of backgrounds and practical skills to the experiment.

Among the Australian participants are Paralympian Kelly Cartwright, cattle farmer Scott McMinn, chef Dean Sganga, psychologist Kiera Madison and diesel mechanic Matthew Wilson.
The experiment will test more than the group’s ability to find food and shelter, with relationships and group dynamics also put under pressure as resources become scarce.
Apocalypse was first announced by BINGE and Channel 4 in September 2025, with the eight-part series billed as a social experiment exploring how ordinary people would respond to an end-of-the-world scenario.
The series was filmed at a real abandoned town used as a training centre for urban warfare, with LaPaglia providing the Australian narration after almost a decade as the host of Australian Survivor.
The series is produced by The Garden, part of ITV Studios, and ITV Studios Australia, the team behind Alone Australia, with ITV Studios handling international distribution.
