Gravity Media will continue producing the television coverage of the Powercor Stawell Gift after extending its partnership with the event organisers through to 2031.
The deal will see the production company remain behind coverage of the iconic Easter event, which is broadcast by Seven and streamed on 7plus, with Seven having previously secured the free-to-air broadcast rights through to 2031.
Gravity Media has been involved with the Stawell Gift since 2018, delivering the complete broadcast production of the event across television and digital platforms.

The company’s work includes outside broadcast and production facilities, a multi-camera setup and a mix of cellular and cloud-based technologies to bring the action from Central Park to audiences.
For the 2026 event, Gravity Media say it deployed 16 cameras, including a drone and super slow-motion cameras, along with a specialist Refcam headset worn by the official firing the starter gun.
The 2026 Powercor Stawell Gift, held annually over the Easter weekend in Stawell, Victoria, was broadcast live on Seven on Easter Monday, with the carnival also streamed live and free on 7plus across all three days.
The event also attracted international attention this year, with US Olympic medallist Sha’Carri Richardson winning the women’s 120-metre Gift from scratch in a time of 13.15 seconds.
Richardson (pictured above) became just the third woman to win the event from scratch, following Melissa Breen in 2012 and 2025 winner Bree Rizzo (main image).
The extended agreement will see Gravity Media continue its production partnership with Stawell Gift Event Management through to 2031, taking the relationship well beyond a decade.
