Sydney went full pink last night as Prime Video’s ELLE wrapped its global tour with a pool party worthy of Elle Woods herself.

From pink puppies to 90s throwbacks, the streamer celebrated the launch of its new Legally Blonde prequel, which has already been renewed for a second season.

Series star Lexi Minetree was in Sydney for the final stop of ELLE‘s world tour, headlining a 90s themed pool party at Jimmy’s Rooftop to mark the show’s arrival on Prime Video.

Guests including Tanya Hennessy, Nina Oyama, Justin Hill, Mitch Churi, and more who embraced the pink dress code, while Bruiser Woods inspired puppies made a scene stealing appearance.

Speaking during an on stage Q&A, Lexi Minetree, who stars as a young Elle Woods in the Prime Video series, was asked what fans could expect from a second season, offering a simple but enthusiastic verdict.

“It’s even better than the first!”

Hosted by Nine entertainment reporter Renee Bargh, the conversation also saw Minetree reflect on stepping into one of pop culture’s most recognisable roles, joking she escaped filming with little more than a couple of bruises.

The celebration wrapped up with performances from Sydney drag queens Fairah Nuff, Danni Issues and Betty Blackheart, who brought classic 90s anthems featured in the series to life.
