Season 12 of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! Australia officially kicked off on 10 last night, with hosts Robert Irwin and Julia Morris welcoming the first wave of 2026 campmates into the jungle.

Ahead of Sunday night’s launch, three of the arrivals had already been confirmed by the network, with Luke Bateman revealed earlier in the week, followed by Rachel Hunter and Dyson Heppell just hours before launch.

Every one of the ten campmates revealed during the premiere had correctly been identified by TV Blackbox earlier in the week, with three more celebrities we’ve confidently named still yet to enter the jungle.

As in previous years, rather than a straightforward walk into camp, the opening episode split the premiere night celebrities into three groups, each facing a very different introduction to jungle life.

International supermodel Rachel Hunter, Hollywood sitcom star Barry Williams and jungle princess Mia Fevola were the first to arrive, tasked with repairing the Jungle Telecommunications Hub as their opening challenge got the season moving quickly.

Soap royalty Rebekah Elmaloglou, rugby league romeo Luke Bateman, stand up star Nath Valvo and 90s pop star Deni Hines followed with a more physical introduction, launching into their jungle adventure via a flying arrival that offered little time to ease in.

Logie winning actor Gary Sweet, AFL A-lister Dyson Heppell and radio queen Concetta Caristo believed they were heading for an easy stroll into camp, only to be met by a surprise challenge that undercut any expectations of a gentle welcome.

The closing moments of the premiere confirmed that two more celebrities will enter camp in tonight’s episode, with the preview pointing to beauty bridezilla Cyrell Paule and reality bad boy Matthew Zukowski as the next arrivals.

With the season now underway, one final campmate is yet to make their jungle entrance, with the Master Chef, understood to be celebrity chef George Calombaris, still to come.

  2. Please cancel this show and all reality shows. I can’t stand the adverts. I would rather watch paint dry. I don’t watch much anymore cause of all the annoying adds.

      • Claire Bear they can’t, rating are sky high with this show.

Budgets which some shows don’t return like SAS Australia which wasn’t on and is now back

      • Justin Gemmill That’s what I just said if ratings are flowing then they’ll keep the show .
SAS Aus was always going to continue they only had a break cause they had to get new commandos or they were occupied in life or other shows.

  3. I like the celebrities this year so far, except one, can’t have everything
    😆 😆 🤣 😂
Is a good variety and all known.

  4. This show sure went downhill after Chris left… They actually had people that was known in the first 4-5 seasons then they just started choosing randoms afterwards… I remember loving this show once but when they started choosing nobodies I stopped watching.

    • Jake Alexander Whyte You do realise the show is a low budget show so they can only get few long term/big celebrities then they just get others to fill in . Been like that since the first show. Chris was only supposed to be in the first season too but he continued until they could get filled in . Hasn’t gone down at all it’s still average but brings in the ratings so they’ll continue it. They are also not “no bodies” they are people & some celebrities

  5. Knew it would happen eventually. But the day has finally come!! They day I don’t recognise a single person on the cast list. 😢😂

  6. no thanks 3mths of promo robert needs to go back to the zoo where he belongs his father would be turing in his grave shame on you robert
