Champagne, shucking and shock farewells – Romance and reality collide on Farmer Wants A Wife

Last night on Farmer Wants a Wife: Romance was in full bloom with epic one-on-one dates before explosive farm farewells saw one farmer asking two ladies to leave his farm.

Still recovering from Claire’s shock exit, Farmer Thomas treated Clarette to an afternoon of oyster shucking and champagne for their one-on-one date.

Acknowledging that Claire’s departure had created an opportunity for her, Clarette seized the moment during a candlelit dinner with Thomas to tell the farmer she was all in. “If you want me here, honestly, I will be here till the end.”

Later that night, Clarette boldly asked Thomas if he found her attractive, to which he answered, “yes.”

For their one-on-one date, Farmer Corey and Chelsea enjoyed a day of four-wheel driving before a romantic evening picnic. Still reeling after learning that Corey had kissed her and Keeley on the same night, Chelsea confronted Corey about his actions.

You kissed someone else after me,” she said.

“It was our special moment and it kind of got taken away by that.”

Corey moved to reassure Chelsea, telling her their kiss felt “right and special” and that he had been waiting to spend time with her.

Farmer Jarrad decided on a day of baseball, followed by a diner dinner and dancing for his date with Ash. When the pair hit the dancefloor after dinner, Ash finally scored her long-awaited kiss with the farmer.

Farmer Tom took Georgie gold panning and swimming for their date, hoping to get to know her better during their time alone. At the end of the date, the pair shared a kiss.

With the one-on-one dates over, the farmers and ladies went back to work on the farm, ahead of the looming farm farewell dinners and departures.

Lacking a connection with Hunter, Corey chose her to leave the farm, while farmers Tom and Thomas decided not to send anyone home.

Certain about his feelings for Chloe and Ash, Jarrad asked Lucy to leave the farm. Returning to the table after farewelling Lucy, Jarrad dropped a bombshell, announcing that Bri would also be leaving.

The farmer explained he had to follow his heart, and he didn’t want to be “another crappy bloke who leads a girl on.”

“I’ve been through some tough things in my life, but as hard as that was, it was the right thing to do”

said Jarrad of his shock decision.

Tuesday night on Farmer Wants A Wife: With only two ladies remaining, Jarrad gets his happily ever after, but who will be the lucky lady?

Meanwhile, back on the farms, the ladies take the reins and design dream dates for their farmers.

Farmer Wants A Wife airs 7.30pm Mondays and Tuesdays on Seven and 7plus
