The new thriller Sweetpea, starring Ella Purnell (Yellowjackets, Fallout), will make its debut on BINGE and Foxtel on 10 October, with all six episodes being released simultaneously. The series promises a darkly comic and twisted narrative, with Purnell portraying Rhiannon Lewis, a character whose life takes a dramatic and violent turn.
Rhiannon is an unassuming figure. People overlook her in the street, she’s constantly passed over for promotions, and the man she’s interested in refuses to commit. The once meek and unnoticed woman is transformed into someone capable of anything. As she embraces her newfound power, she’s forced to grapple with whether she can keep her dangerous secret under wraps.
The series also features Nicôle Lecky (Mood, Sense8) as Julia, Jon Pointing (Big Boys, Smothered) as Craig, Calam Lynch (Bridgerton) as AJ, and Leah Harvey (Foundation) as Marina. Additional cast members include Jeremy Swift (Ted Lasso) as Norman and Dustin Demri-Burns (Slow Horses) as Jeff.
