In a nail-biting I’m a Celebrity semi-final, Ellie and Brittany say their goodbyes. Catch the details of their exit.

In a dramatic double elimination on Thursday night’s semi-final of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, Ellie Cole and Brittany Hockley were voted out, just shy of the final hurdle to become the next Queen of the Jungle.

The elimination saw the number of campmates in the South African jungle decrease from five to three, amidst emotional farewells. Both Brittany and Ellie had impressed with their resilience and camaraderie throughout the series.

Brittany, known for her courageous spirit, faced numerous challenges since her adventurous entry, which involved being lowered off a cliff. Her journey included tackling giant boulders in Knock and Roll, braving the Jungle Day Spa, conquering the icy Deep Freeze, and enduring the physically challenging Knights In Shining Armour. Despite her struggle with the Sicknic eating trial, Brittany remained a spirited competitor, particularly shining during the Worst Sports Carnival.

Off the field, Brittany was equally engaging, often found sharing personal stories with her fellow contestants. She candidly discussed her long-distance relationship woes and her fertility challenges, bringing her closer to the other celebrities. Brittany‘s participation supported RizeUp, a charity aiding women in escaping abusive environments and starting anew.

Meanwhile, Ellie Cole, an acclaimed Paralympian and self-proclaimed superfan of the show, embraced every challenge with enthusiasm. Her trials included being submerged in a train carriage, navigating the first eating challenge of the season, and enduring an array of critters during her trials. Despite physical trials, Ellie‘s infectious positivity and stories of overcoming cancer and achieving sporting greatness provided much-needed morale boosts to her campmates.

Ellie‘s charitable cause during her stint on the show was Challenge, which assists children and families dealing with cancer.

With Brittany and Ellie‘s departure, the competition narrows down to Callum Hole, Skye Wheatley, and Tristan MacManus, who will vie for the title in the upcoming grand finale.

The season’s climax is set for Sunday, April 21 at 7.30pm on Channel 10 and 10 Play, where the ultimate winner of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! will be crowned.
