Josh Brolin Returns in Season Two of Outer Range on Prime Video
Prime Video has unveiled the official trailer for the second season of the critically acclaimed series, Outer Range, starring Josh Brolin. The show, which combines elements of neo-Western drama with sci-fi mysteries, is set to release all seven episodes on Thursday, May 16.
Season Two of Outer Range promises a thrilling continuation of its storyline, following the enigmatic events at the Abbott family’s ranch. At the heart of the plot is Royal Abbott (played by Josh Brolin), a rugged rancher entangled in a battle to protect his land and family from inexplicable and increasingly perilous threats.
Alongside Brolin, the series features performances from Lili Taylor, Imogen Poots, and Tamara Podemski, among others.
The upcoming season deepens the mysteries surrounding a dark void found on the Abbotts’ property, intensifying as the family confronts the disappearance of their granddaughter. The stakes escalate with the family facing various threats, pushing them closer to the void’s inexplicable powers, which challenge the fabric of time itself.
Charles Murray, known for his work on True Story and Sons of Anarchy, returns as the showrunner and executive producer. The second season also marks a significant milestone for Brolin, who directs the penultimate episode, showcasing his directorial skills.
