AFL legend Peter Daicos is the latest to be evicted from I’m a Celebrity. Catch the next episode on Channel 10.

In a dramatic twist on Channel 10’s I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here!, former AFL star Peter Daicos has been the latest contestant to be evicted.

The announcement came during Monday’s episode, delivered by hosts Julia Morris and Rob Irwin, revealing that Daicos had garnered the fewest public votes.

Despite his exit not far from the finale, Daicos, who is celebrated for his 250-game career with Collingwood until his retirement in 1993, took the news in stride.

“Thank you, thank you for guys! You guys made it what it is. Nothing else, nothing short of brilliant. Thank you,” he expressed gratefully.

With his departure, the number of contestants vying for the title of King or Queen of the jungle has dwindled to seven. Daicos reflected on his experience with Morris and Irwin, noting the challenges and adjustments of life in the jungle.

“The time may have come, the energy levels are a bit down but it is bittersweet. We’ve been here for quite a while and we’re not far from the finish line,” he shared.

In another significant moment of the show, Hollywood actor Frankie Muniz chose to leave the competition voluntarily last Sunday. Muniz cited overwhelming feelings and responsibilities towards his family as his reasons for departure, marking a poignant moment in the show.

“I’m a celebrity, get me out of here,” he declared, signaling his exit.

I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here! airs Tuesday at 7:30pm on Channel 10 and 10play.
