College sensation Caitlin Clark headlines 2024 WNBA Draft live on ESPN

College basketball superstar Caitlin Clark will lead a host of future prospects in the 2024 WNBA Draft live on ESPN today from Brooklyn Academy of Music.  

Clark is the biggest name in basketball right now following her heroics for Iowa University at the recent NCAA Women’s National Championship tournament.

A generational talent – Clark has captivated basketball fans and helped set audience records for the sport.

Clark stole the spotlight at the recent NCAA Women’s National Championship, steering Iowa all the way to the final game and her star showing has all but confirmed she will be taken with the number one pick in the WNBA draft, held by the Indiana Fever.

ESPN will provide comprehensive coverage throughout the evening, spanning from the arrival of the draft prospects on the signature WNBA “Orange Carpet” through the completion of the third round.

ESPN’s telecast will have cameras inside five team draft rooms: Indiana, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, and Washington – all of whom have First Round pick.

Additionally, ESPN will have live coverage from the Indiana Fever and Los Angeles Sparks official Watch Parties.

Ryan Ruocco will return as the WNBA Draft host on site, joined by analysts Rebecca Lobo and Andraya Carter and reporter Holly Rowe.

Lobo and Carter will break down the picks with reactions and in-depth analysis, while Rowe will interview the newest 2024 draftees following their selections.

Caitlin Clark is not the only College star with WNBA dreams – LSU’s Angel Reese and South Carolina’s Kamila Cardoso are both expected to be among the top players drafted.

The remaining picks in the draft order remain open for surprise.

Cameron Brink (Stanford), Rickea Jackson (Tennessee), Aaliyah Edwards (UConn), Jacy Sheldon (Ohio State) and Alissa Pili (Utah) could all climb up the board.

Local hoops fans will also take a keen interest with Isobel Borlase and Nyadiew Puoch featuring among the top ten draft choices in expert predictions.

Borlase (Adelaide Lightning) and Puoch (Southside Flyers) will look to take the next step in their basketball careers, having both had impressive WNBL campaigns.
