Frankie Muniz leaves ‘I’m a Celebrity’ after an emotional decision focused on family.

In a poignant scene on Sunday night, Frankie Muniz emotionally announced his departure from ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!‘. The actor made his exit after expressing difficulties being away from his family, particularly after the celebrities received heartfelt letters from home.

As the camp absorbed the unexpected news, Frankie shared his feelings in a heartfelt speech.

“I’m so not an emotional person because I become just so busy that I’m almost numb,”

he confessed to his campmates.

“I felt so many incredible feelings here with you guys, and I’m lucky that it was y’all, because I know with one person taken out, my experience would have been completely different.”

Frankie revealed his personal revelations about missing significant moments at home, particularly with his son. Referring to his wife, Paige Price‘s letter, he disclosed,

“Hearing my wife say that my son is sad that I don’t play trucks with him… I realise, man I’ve been home so many days and when I’m home, I’m not present.”

Determined to change, he added,

“I’m so ready to be present… I feel like you guys know me now, and we’ll be friends forever. But, from the outside, I think people know me as an actor or a race car driver but all I really want to be known as is the best father and the best husband to my wife, and hopefully a good friend.”

Leaving the South African jungle was a profound moment for Frankie, who later discussed his decision with hosts Robert Irwin and Julia Morris. He described it as one of the most challenging and yet transformative experiences of his life.

“It was weird to have that dilemma playing in my mind – it’s so positive that I want to leave to use the positive that I learned and apply it at home today. I didn’t want to wait any longer,” he explained.

Frankie’s time on the show supported Dementia Australia, a charity providing assistance and resources to those affected by dementia.

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! continues Sunday – Thursday at 7.30 on 10 and 10 Play.
