Sky News Australia has announced it will premiere a new weekly discussion program Danica and James on Sunday nights.

Hosted by Danica De Giorgio and James Macpherson, the one-hour show will see the popular presenters team up to tackle the week’s biggest news.

In this no-holds-barred new show, political correctness will be in the firing line, and politicians taken to task.

The dying art of disagreement won’t be in short supply either with head-to-head debate each week on nation-defining issues.

Expect strong opinions from the hosts, while Sky News viewers will also get to have their say.

Danica De Giorgio said:

“I’m really excited to work with James on our brand-new show. It’s a fresh format where we will hear from everyday Aussies on the issues that matter to them. And we will have fun along the way!”

James Macpherson said:

“I’m really looking forward to great conversations about big issues affecting Australian families.

“Danica and I will be talking to people from all sides of the debate, as well as to ordinary Australians, who will give us a feel for how issues are playing out in lounge rooms and workplaces across the country.”

The new Danica and James program joins the Sunday primetime line-up featuring The Sunday Showdown at 7.00pm, Paul Murray Live at 9.00pm and The Royal Report at 10.00pm.

Danica and James, Sundays at 8.00pm AEST starts April 14. Stream at SkyNews.com.au or download the Sky News Australia app, also available to watch on Foxtel and Sky News Regional or stream on Flash
