Join Andrew Scott and Paul Mescal in ‘All of Us Strangers’ on Disney+, an unforgettable journey beginning April 24
Disney+ is slated to premiere Searchlight Pictures’ film “All of Us Strangers,” directed by Andrew Haigh and featuring Andrew Scott, Paul Mescal, alongside Jamie Bell and Claire Foy, exclusively in Australia on April 24, 2024.
Set against the backdrop of a contemporary London tower block, the plot unfurls around Adam (Andrew Scott), who experiences a life-altering encounter with Harry (Paul Mescal), a mysterious neighbour. This encounter disrupts the monotony of Adam’s life, weaving a complex tale of relationships and memory.
As Adam navigates his newfound relationship with Harry, he becomes ensnared in reflections of his past, drawn to the suburban town of his upbringing. Here, he confronts the preserved image of his deceased parents (Claire Foy and Jamie Bell), living as if time had stood still for 30 years.
The film, heralded for its engaging narrative and compelling performances, comes from Searchlight Pictures, in collaboration with Film4 and TSG Entertainment, under the production banner of Blueprint Pictures. The production team boasts Graham Broadbent, Pete Czernin, and Sarah Harvey as producers.
“All of Us Strangers” is an adaptation of Taichi Yamada’s novel “Strangers”, brought to life through the direction of Andrew Haigh. The film’s visual and auditory elements are crafted by cinematographer Jamie D. Ramsay, SASC, production designer Sarah Finlay, costume designer Sarah Blenkinsop, and hair and makeup artist Zoe Clare Brown. Jonathan Alberts, ACE, takes on editing duties, with Emilie Levienaise-Farrouch providing the musical score.
Disney+ reinforces its commitment to family-friendly content with robust parental controls. These features allow subscribers to manage access to mature content and create PIN-protected profiles, ensuring a secure viewing environment alongside the existing Kids Profiles.
